Advice for Young Carers

Young Carers’ mental health

It is OK and normal for young carers to sometimes feel angry or sad, resentful or guilty about their caring role. But if your caring responsibilities become overwhelming it can negatively affect your mental health.

The Carers Trust did a survey earlier this year which showed that over one third of young carers experienced widespread problems with their mental well-being.
